"Frohmberg" is German. There are other variations in spelling with the same pronunciation, but they are not related to us. There are many "Frombergs" and a Fromberg, Montana, but they have no connection to our family.
Sarah means “Princess” or “Mother of Many.” No one in my family has been able to establish what Frohmberg means, aside from "'berg' means mountain."
My great-great grandparents emigrated from Berlin around 1890. All Frohmbergs in the U.S.A. are directly related to me through their youngest son. As far as I can tell, the only other Frohmbergs are from Poland and descendant from one of my great-great grandfather's brothers.
