Origin of Name

Keizen is my Dharma name. I received it from my teacher when I took the Bodhisattva vows. Li Qian is my Chinese name in the appropriate sequence.

Meaning of Name

Keizen means "Joyfully complete."

Behind My Name

I changed my name legally in 2016, but when it was time to renew my passport, courts were closed because of the COVID pandemic and I had to give up my last court-certified copy to the State Department.
