My first name is a homage to my Italian great grandparents, who emigrated to Argentina in the 1920s. My last names are of Spanish origin.
Giovanna is the Italian form of Joan or Juana in Spanish. Guerrero means "warrior" in Spanish and Medina means "city" in arabic (probably through the Spanish Moors).
As is the practice in many Hispanic cultures, I use both the last name of my father (Guerrero) AND mother (Medina). I hyphenate them in English to avoid confusion.
