Pucu means 'tall' or 'lean' in Tupi Guarani
From what I know, I do not have an indigenous heritage. But one of my ancestors from the North of Brazil traded with indigenous people and they called him "Pucu" because he was very tall. He liked so much that it became his last name. Only members of my family have this last name, and I am very proud of it.
